Bethesda Worship Center is a place where you can be you while becoming like Him!
BWC is a place where we desire to connect real people, with a real God, in a real relationship. We seek to accomplish this through ministering to both the family (at home) and the family of God.
We began September of 1997 with a small group of approximately 25 people and have grown to roughly 300 plus every week in corporate worship. We have matured from a hotel room to a rented hall and presently into our church facility in Richmond, Indiana. We have renovated this building complex for our church, children and student ministries, and our many other areas of fellowship.
BWC is NOT a religious church! We're not into the traditions of the past, but we are into a REAL RELATIONSHIP with a REAL GOD! We understand that real people have real issues. However, a real relationship, with a real God, can and will resolve any and every issue. We don't care where you've come from, but we do care about where you are going.
Bethesda Worship Center is a place for YOU.
We Believe...
•The Bible to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infallible, and God's revealed word to man.
•That Scripture teaches that there is only one true and living God who has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
•That man is a sinful being in need of redemption.
•In the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and the son of man, that He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an substitute sacrifice and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him.
•That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
•That the Scripture ascribe to the Holy Spirit the acts and attributes of an intelligent being, and that the works of God, such as creation, inspiration, giving of life, and sanctification are also ascribed to the Holy Spirit.
•In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
•That the baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it.
•That all mankind is subject to the death of the body as a result of original sin. The soul and spirit do not die, but immediately after death enter into conscious state of happiness or misery according to the character here possessed by rejection or acceptance of the Savior.
•In the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation.
•In the personal, imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
•The redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.
